Pricing
All prices are in USD funds and are firm.

Shipping – General
All orders are usually processed and shipped out within 2 to 3 business days using Canada Post Parcel Service. Purchases made on Saturday or Sunday will usually be shipped out the following Monday. White Elephant Vintage is not responsible for service transit time. Because we are shipping from Canada, regular Expedited USA mail takes 9-12 business days to arrive and does not provide tracking until it has gone past it’s estimated delivery time. As well, packages can get held up at the border by customs officials, which unfortunately is beyond our control. All shipping costs are determined by the weight of the items purchased, the method of shipping chosen and the destination address. If you require fast shipping please let us know and we can quote you a different rate using different delivery methods. Shipping – International
Due to increasing shipping costs and the increasing number of lost and damaged shipments overseas, we will no longer be shipping internationally via ground. We will only ship via air internationally. International air shipments usually take 12-15 business days to arrive, and there is no tracking provided until the package goes over it’s estimated delivery time. Please note that customers are responsible for all international custom and duty fees. These are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping. Since international shipping costs vary by country, shipping costs quoted at checkout are an estimation. Customers may receive a revised invoice for additional shipping costs. Alternatively, customers may also receive a refund for extra shipping costs paid.

Shipping – Notifications
When domestic and international shipping labels are prepared online and printed, customers will receive notification via email from Paypal, depending on the shipping method selected. If you do not receive this email within 2 to 4 days after placing your order, please check your Spam/Junk mail folder or contact us. This email will include your Shipping Number from Canada Post. Please note that this is not an actual tracking number, but rather simply shows when the label was printed and when the item was delivered at its final destination. We therefore strongly urge all customers to carefully consider their shipping option in relation to the final destination.

Shipping – Transit & Insurance
Once an order is given to a shipping carrier, the package then becomes that carrier’s responsibility and White Elephant Vintage is no longer liable. All orders shipped via Canada Post automatically include up to $100 insurance. If you would like to include additional insurance on an order, please contact us directly.

Shipping – Incorrect / Insufficient / Misdirected Address
If you mistakenly provided us with an incorrect or insufficient address, please contact us immediately with the corrected information. If your order has not yet shipped, we will correct it immediately with no problem. If your order has already been shipped, we must wait until delivery is attempted and then returned back to us before we can change the address – please note that additional shipping charges will incur for reshipment.

Privacy Policy
White Elephant Vintage respects your privacy and will never sell, loan, rent, trade or give away any personal information that you offer during your visit. Personal information provided is only to be used for the services requested, such as processing an order and shipping your package to your address.

Payment Options
We only accept Paypal as a form of payment.

Vintage Items
All sales on our vintage items are final (we do not offer refunds, credits or exchanges on these items).We describe all vintage items, through both photography and copy, as accurately as possible, If you have any questions or concerns at all about a particular item, please make sure to contact us before you make your purchase.

Damages/Defective Merchandise
Please inspect your purchase as soon as it arrives. Damage claims on shipped items must be made within 48 hours of package arrival, and does not include irregularities already mentioned in vintage item descriptions. No claims can be made after 48 hours. If for some reason there is damage or defect to your item, please notify us immediately. Call 905-667-0325 or email whiteelephantvintage@gmail.com for a return authorization on damaged items.

Sales Tax
We collect 13% Harmonized Sales Tax for all items, in compliance with Ontario and Canadian vendor laws.

Simultaneous Purchases
This case is rare, but since we operate a bricks and mortar store with all of our one-of-a-kind vintage items, it may be possible that someone could purchase an item simultaneously as it being purchased online. If this were ever to occur, we would immediately refund the online buyer for all costs incurred in the transaction.

Environmental Commitment
At White Elephant Vintage we have a strong commitment to the environment, as evident in our philosophy of living vintage. We use only recycled and/or re-purposed packing materials to lessen the impact on the environment. Your package may not look the prettiest when it arrives on your doorstep, but the quality of the item you purchased will more than make up for it.
